Corrections Policy - HNA News | Accuracy & Transparency Commitment

Corrections Policy

At HNA News, we are committed to delivering accurate and reliable information to our readers. However, we acknowledge that mistakes can occasionally happen. When they do, we act swiftly and transparently to correct them.

1. Commitment to Accuracy

Accuracy is the foundation of our journalism. Every article goes through a review process before publication, but if an error slips through, we take full responsibility and correct it without delay.

2. Types of Corrections

  • Minor Corrections (grammar, spelling, formatting): These are silently updated without a note.

  • Substantive Corrections (factual errors, names, dates, quotes): A correction note is added to the article to inform readers of the update.

  • Full Retractions (in rare cases): If a story is found to be entirely false or misleading, we may retract it and publish a statement explaining why.

3. How to Request a Correction

If you believe we’ve published inaccurate or misleading information, please let us know. Provide the following details:

  • Article title and URL

  • Description of the inaccuracy

  • Supporting evidence (if available)

  • Your contact information

📧 Email us at: hnanews.in@gmail.com

4. Editorial Review

All correction requests are reviewed by our editorial team. If the request is valid, we will correct the error and update the article accordingly. Our goal is to respond to correction requests within 48 hours.

5. Transparency

We believe in being honest with our readers. All significant corrections will be disclosed at the bottom of the article with a time-stamped note explaining what was changed and why.

6. Ongoing Review

We periodically review our published content to ensure accuracy, especially when referencing evolving news stories. Corrections may be made even without a formal request if the information is outdated or incorrect.
