At HNA News, we are committed to stopping the spread of misinformation. Our Fact-Check Team reviews suspicious claims, viral posts, and potentially misleading content — and publishes transparent, verified reports.

This Fact-Check Submission Guide helps you understand how to report claims you’d like us to verify.


1. What You Can Submit

You can send us:

  • Viral news articles or videos

  • WhatsApp forwards or Facebook posts

  • Political claims, health misinformation, or manipulated images

  • Rumors or unverified statements circulating online or offline

We welcome submissions in Hindi and English.


2. How to Submit a Claim

Please send your fact-check request via email with the following:

Include:

  • The full text or link of the content

  • A screenshot or source (if available)

  • The platform where it was shared (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube)

  • Why you believe it might be false or misleading

  • Your name and city (optional)


3. What Happens Next?

  • Our team reviews your submission and prioritizes it based on public interest and potential harm

  • We conduct independent research, consult experts, and verify information

  • A fact-check article is published on our website with findings and references

  • If the claim is true, false, or misleading — we clearly label it


4. Turnaround Time

We try to respond within 48 to 72 hours, but response time may vary based on volume and complexity.


5. Anonymity & Privacy

Your identity will be kept confidential unless you ask us to mention it. We do not share your personal information with any third party.
